Just to keep you apprised, the attached document was prepared by CFTC staff as technical assistance and
is responsive to the letter recently sent by Chairman Frank (~h~kJ~~r~ for Committee release) to Chairman
Gensler. It has been provided to staff of the House Financial Services, and was subsequently shared with staff of
House Agriculture. It includes draft legislative text in 3 areas:

(1) Regulatory determination of clearing requirement


(2) Mandatory clearing for financial firms
(3) Execution transparency for clearable but non-cleared swaps.
