Term 1 2011

Dear Teachers

Planning for Clubs this term is underway involving pupils from Year 5 - 8. (Rooms 4, 5, 10)
Clubs are ‘extra-curricula’ activities for students, and run on Friday afternoons for 7 weeks from about
1.50pm – 2.50pm.

Would you please indicate what Club you would like to take, noting the following points:

 Group size 12 - 15 pupils (mixture of Y5 - 8; Rooms 4/5/10). The more club options we have, the
greater the spread of children, and the smaller the group size. If you limit your group to 10, e.g.,
others have to pick up the surplus.

 Please be conscious of cost, and the ability of parents/caregivers to pay. We do have a budget for
clubs, though this generally only covers incidental costs. Hire of equipment and/or facilities
outside school, and transport costs are paid for by the families of pupils who choose that club.

 Begins Friday February 25 (Week 4), and runs for 7 weeks until April 8 (Week 10).
