    What is happening this week?


    Jesus Time ... In this weeks stories we will see how Gods leaders Esther and Elijah lead the people of Israel. Language ... more alphabet activities; declarative and interrogative sentences; working with short vowels and consonant blends; read Get the Egg!; working with main idea and details. Science ... a special activity that relates to owls ... listening to our 4th grade friends share what they have learned about birds of prey. Math ... we will learn about subtraction sentences and using subtraction sentences to compare. We will also use objects to help us solve problems.

    After the parade ... God bless America!


    Things to remember... Lunch time for the Thanksgiving Feast for 1st graders is 11:20 to 12:00. Hope that you have made reservations! Jump Rope for Heart is next Tuesday, November 22nd! Check out Friday Features for information on what to wear! I will be gone Thursday afternoon through Monday and will return on Tuesday. I will be attending a meeting in North Carolina.
