SUPPLY OF SUPPLEMENTARY FOODS UNDER JSDF GRANT FOR LOCAL LEVEL INTERVENTION TO IMPROVE NUTRITION IN NORTHERN PROVINCE 2012 1. The Chairman GAPC now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Supply of Supplementary Foods as specified below. Reference No : JSDF/NUT/NP/GOOD/13

2. Bidder shall be a Company or Agent entity who shall have a valid Business Registration for Supply for Supplementary Foods. 3. Relevant bid security should be annexed with bid. 4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Ministry of Health,Northern Province,Health Village,Pannai,Jaffna. (021 -222 0801, camhnp@yahoo.com) and inspect the bidding documents above the address during the office hours. Tender document can be seen at the Northern Province web site www.np.gov.lk before purchase the tender document. 5. A complete set of Bid documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of Application for Bid Documents available in this ministry and upon payment of a non refundable fee Rs. 2000/- on working days from 08.03.2012 to 30.03.2012 during 0900 Hours to 1500 Hours. The method of all payments will be by cash. 6. A pre bid meeting will be held at 1030 hrs on 21st March 2012 at the Ministry of Health & IM Northern Province Health Village, Pannai, Jaffna. A five minutes presentation will be made by the bidder on the same date. 7. Supplementary Foods 2012, Name of the Institution .., Reference No. . should be clearly written on the left hand top corner of the envelope. Any unsealed, unmarked and late applications will not be opened and send back. 8. Bids must be submitted on or before 1500 Hours of 30th March 2012 to the address of Ministry of Health Northern Province Health Village Pannai Jaffna, in the tender box available at Chief Accountants Room and the received bids will be opened immediately thereafter. 9. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who have been authorized in writing. 10.The Chairman reserves the right to accept or reject or partially accept or reject all bids at any time without there by incurring any liability to the bidders.
