Chandigarh Jan 9- Haryana Police has solved the mystery of murder of a teacher of village
Thurana by arresting three accused who confessed their involvement in the crime which took
place on October 20, 2011 at village Thurana in district Hisar. They have been identified as
Vinod, a resident of Thurana, Amit of Rajli and Jagdeep alias Sonu of Narnaund.
They had killed the teacher to take revenge. The three were nabbed by the police when they
were planning to rob the passer by near Kheri Jalab village road in Narnaund, last evening.
The police also recovered a 9 mm pistol, 5 live cartridges and an iron rod from them. The
police produced the accused in the court today and have taken them on remand for further
investigation.
During interrogation the main accused Vinod confessed that he had hatched a plan to murder
Shiv kumar to take revenge on an incident occured during a wrestling competition at their
village sometime back. Shiv kumar had beated him with the help of Bittu and Sonu belonging to
the same village. To avenge of Shiv kumar, he planned to murder him with the help of his
friend Amit and Jagdeep. On the day of incident, they were travelling in a car and fired at
Shiv kumar when he was on his way to school. After the murder of Shiv Kumar they wanted to
eliminate Sonu and Bittu who were involved in beating him up, revealed Vinod. All the three
were produced in the local court and the police has taken them on remand for further
interrogation and recovery of weapons used in committing the murder.
With their arrest the police has been able to save the lives of Sonu and Bitu because both
were their next target.
