Your classification for your Online Lottery Room Selection Time Ticket is determined as shown below:
Classification Description
GR Graduate Possess baccalaureate degree and admitted to the School of Graduate Studies.
SR Senior 135 credit hours or more earned.
JR Junior 90-134 credit hours earned.
SO Sophomore 45-89 credit hours earned.
FR Freshmen 0-44 credit hours earned.
The credit hours for which you are currently registered are not used when determining your Lottery
Room Selection Time Ticket.

Housing selection will run daily from 8:30 a.m. to Midnight. During the hours of 8:30 am
to 7:30 pm housing staff will be available through live chat and/or phone to answer any
questions you may have regarding the process. You may email questions to
housing@wright.edu.

Check It Out
Everyone should log into the Online Lottery Room Selection site ahead of time to verify
your eligibility and see what the site looks like.
HOLDS
Students who have holds against their university account will not be eligible to
participate in Online Lottery Room Selection. You must get your holds cleared up before
Monday, January 26th to participate in squatting and before Friday, February 20th to
participate in the new room selection process.

Eligibility Requirements
All students are eligible to live in Hamilton Living and The Woods. Those who request
and are assigned to the Honors housing must be in the University Honors Program, a
National Merit Scholar, a Trustee Scholar, accepted into a specialized living‐learning
community, or have a 3.0 GPA to occupy that building.
In order to be eligible to live in Forest Lane, College Park and University Park, students
must be 21 years of age, or be of sophomore status, or have lived on campus for three
consecutive quarters.
In order to be eligible to live in Village, students must be 23 years of age, or be a
graduate or professional student, be married and/or have dependent(s), or be of junior
or senior status.
Continuing WSU students wishing to reside in Forest Lane, College Park, University Park,
or the Village must also have a cumulative grade point average greater than 1.0 at the
time of their application for campus housing for the coming academic year. Exceptions
to this policy may be requested through the Residence Services Appeals process.
4. Your pulled in roommates will be required to pay their prepayments by
Wednesday, April 1, 2009 too, so make sure they go to our web page at
www.wright.edu/housing to pay their prepayments online after the process.

In the past, spaces (even whole apartments) have become available when students fail to pay
their $150 prepayment. Once those requests have been cancelled around Friday, April 10th,
Residence Services opens the rooms up for students to move into the available spaces. This will
be done online by you to make upgrading or changing as easy as possible.

Community Descriptions
We will be having Community Open Houses with refreshments Monday,
January 26 and Tuesday, January 27, from 8:00‐10:00 p.m. Each community
will host an open house in their community office with the exception of
Honors on 2nd floor plaza and Woods in 200 Hawthorn. Please come see
what we have to offer and get some free food!
Hamilton
Eligibility: All Students

College Park Apartments
Eligibility: 21 years of age, or sophomore status, or have lived on campus for three consecutive
quarters.
Rooms: Four Bedrooms, Two Bath Apartments
Amenities: Individual Bedrooms, Kitchen w/Dishwasher and Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer in
Every Unit, Cable Included, High Speed and Wireless Internet, Central Air, Basketball Court,
Gazebos, Outdoor Grills.

University Park Apartments
Eligibility: 21 years of age, or sophomore status, or have lived on campus for three consecutive
quarters.
Rooms: Four Bedroom Two Bath Apartments
Amenities: Fully Furnished, Individual Bedrooms, Kitchen w/Dishwasher and Refrigerator,
Washer and Dryer in Every Unit, Cable Included, High Speed and Wireless Internet, Central Air,
Gazebos, Outdoor Grills.
Forest Lane Apartments
Eligibility: 21 years of age, or sophomore status, or have lived on campus for three consecutive
quarters.
Rooms: Two Bedroom Units for Four Students or Two Bedroom Units for Two Students.
Amenities: Fully Furnished, Individual Bedrooms, Kitchen w/Dishwasher and Refrigerator, Cable
Included High Speed and Wireless Internet, Central Air, Community Center with Computers,
Outdoor Grills.
Village Apartments
Eligibility: 23 years of age or, Junior or Senior Status, Graduate Students, Students with Families
or Partners Living with Them.
Rooms: Efficiency, Deluxe Efficiency, One Bedroom, Two Bedroom.
Amenities: Private Units, Full Kitchen, Laundry Facilities, Cable Included, High Speed and
Wireless Internet, Central Air, Gazebos, Children’s Playground, Outdoor Grills, Covered Picnic
Shelter, All Utilities Included, Locked Hallways.
Definitions
ONLINE LOTTERY ROOM SELECTION – This is the method that students use to select where they will live for
the 2009‐2010 academic year.
LOTTERY TIME TICKET – This is the schedule that you will use to determine when you may begin signing up
for housing.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – These are the rules by which you agree to when you accept your contract for
campus housing.
SQUATTER – Person who lives in the room now and wants to live in the same exact room next year!
SQUATTER PULL IN – Person who will be joining the squatter in their room next year pulled in by the
squatter.
