Hello, Anyo Hasseo, Ni Hao, My name is Yuki Tanaka and yes I have sooooo many talents I just couldnt

decide which I should perform for you today. Should I perform Taichovskys 18th century piano overture or perhaps .Brahms violin concerto in G# minor Yes, the decision being so hard I decided instead I would tell you how I came to be here with you at AIC. I couldnt wait to study here at AIC.and we all are excitedly looking forward to our move to our new site. Yes, and I am the first to know that to coincide with this move What was formerly known as Auckland International College is to be rebranded as. Asian International College where typical asian students like myself study 24hrs a day 7 to aspire to become part of future AIC Asian International communities living overseas who NEVER come back. Before I started I couldnt wait to get my informal uniform. Here at AIC we can really let our imaginations fly and in an effort to build self esteem and help us reach our full potential and feel like a real super hero - At AIC we even get to dress like one! We have a Japanese manga character inspired informal uniform! I love it. The uniform has been a great talking point and sometimes even a running start when confronted at bus stops around Auckland. Before coming to AIC I was soooo looking forward to improving my Chinese too. Surrounded by so many Asian people how could I NOT improve? Then the first assembly- two major points ingrained on my brain suddenly blew that idea out the window The Principal announced - In and around the school only English is to be spoken We must not SLOTE. On a positive note though I can SLOTE as Chinese is NOT my first language. I can even use sloating as a weapon. All I need to do is wait for a teacher to approach and say Jin Tian ni zenyang or ni hao bu hao and wait for the response a sure way to get anyone in trouble. Seriously though, here at AIC we are extremely fortunate to be blessed with a fantastic teaching staff from an amazing array of countries. Not only has my Chinese improved but now I can understand English spoken in almost any language! Whether its Indian English, Chinese English or even Rissian- I mean, Georgian English, I can speak them all! (In a Russian English) Okay, do exercise 2.5, and then do all of Chapter 5. What! No book! Detention! The second point brought up at that very first assembly was regarding our hair Our Principal made it explicitly clear - Here at AIC our natural hair colour is black and no other colour would be allowed! Oh no, guys what should I do? Give me an honest answer-should I dye it back? Everybody knows I cant shave it, or I should belong at BIC, and for those who dont know, thats short for Buddhist International College! This year I have started my CAS-another acronym that I love CAS or as it should be known CreateAdded Stress is a great way to force you to do things that you would be otherwise be too lazy or scared to join such as The Blood Donating Club. If you go many many times I even read you are even entitled to a free t shirt that says on the front Luckily my needle was clean and on the back I am AIDS and Hepatitis Free! Just cant wait!!!

Not to worry, if you are feeling really stressed I am an excellent listener- I will give you some great advice following the guidelines of Creativity Action and Service. The Service part I can provide is the listening part the Creativity and Action part though I will have to combine. If you are really feeling very very stressed dont do anything rash now STUDY STUDY STUDY your SAT vocab as it is a really important way to effectively communicate as you can see Tarry until our relocation to Hill Top, then plummet off the apex of the topological altitudal extension of our new milieu. And for those of us who do not speak fluent twit. Wait till our move to Hill Top and look for that Hill and simply jump off!

Thank You so much for listening For Listening!
