As we all knew ngo is the most important topic which in the personality development unit, we were given a deadline of 7 days to complete our visit. Initially we had plans to visit hotels instead of ngo, so hunting for a hotel who would give us permission for the visit, for which we lost out 3 valuable days in activity. As we were just left with 4 days to complete our ngo visit, we had to be very quick to plan our visit. Most of our team members are also doing their college along with Frankfinn, so it was tough for them to make time out of their daily schedule. Some of them even had annual exams coming very shortly. So due to less days available, we had to plan only two days visit instead of three days. And we also needed to cover all the activity required to be done within 2 days. The first day of our visit was a holiday for all the schools on behalf of gudi padwa, so we were told by the father of the ngo that we have whole day to spend time with the children. So we planned to do most of the activity and cover possibly on the first day itself. So even though we lost too much time before the visit, we were able to cover the entire task required to be done before the deadline. Its always famously said Time is money, but you only learn to make proper use of it by experience. This was such an experience for us too; where we learned the importance of Time Management.
HOW WE TACKLED THEM Once the idea of hotel didnt work, we quickly start hunting for an ngo.
Due to loss of time, we had to finish off with the ngo visit soon, so that we could complete it before the deadline. As a team leader I looked for contact number of some of the hotels, and gave couples of contact numbers to the members whom I had assigned this work. Faisal, one of my team members was too assigned this work, but he showed no response to the share of work given to him.
As the ngo visit needs to done for 3 days, due to inadequate time we planned to finish all those activities in 2 days. Due to lack of responsibility, and no interest shown by him. I had to call those hotels on my own.
All the stuffs which were bought Due to lack of cooperation from for distribution at ngo were only others members, Ravi and myself had done by few of members. If rest to take responsibility to get all these of members had cooperated stuffs on our own. burden to get all those stuffs would have reduced. On the day 1 of ngo visit, Due to both of them not being according to the plan all the punctual as per the plan, we decided members were planned to leave to leave instead. But they joined us at 1pm in the afternoon. But before we left. Faisal and Umair of our team were too late, due to which all the members had to wait for them. And they were not As most of them did not reach on time, we decided to reach the ngo and start the activity. responding to our phone calls. On the 2nd day of visit, all the members had planned to meet at Vikhroli station, but only me, Ravi and Minauti were on time. All the others members were nearly late for about 1 hour. Due to this delay, we could only conduct dance competition at the ngo.
