com> to me Hello

Ideally the standing orders of company should mention the retirement age for employee. The appointment letter mentions the terms and conditions of employment. For furt furthur hur clarification you can mention the standing orders in appointment letter itself. You must be having standing orders in your company. If not you can follow the model standing orders blindly. Regards Rajesh Human Resource manager __._,_.___

Dear fraternity, I need your valuable advise on retirement in pvt. limited sector. I work for a German Based subsidiary in Hyderabad. I need clarification on the employees retirement age. We do not have neither any kind of policy nor we mentioned in the appointment letter about the retirement age. Can experts pass some light on this Query? I need What could be the retirement age? is it 58 or 60 is there any rule to regulate that by law. If i frame a policy or guidelines for 58, if the employee do not want to retire at the age of 58 what could be the legal implications involves? Experts please through some light on it and reply as early as possible.

1) Government departments have rules to retire their employees on attaining the age of 60 years. 2) In respect of private sector retirement age shall be as per standing order of the company. 3) Judges of Supreme Court retire on attaining the age of 65 years 4) AICTE has lawfully allowed the professors of engineering colleges to work till the age of 65 years. 5) There is no restriction if you devise a rule to retire your employee at the age of 40 years or at the age of 75 years as long as it is applied equally to all the employees. If it is used unfairly then aggrieved employees will take to legal recourse.
