The stiffener spacing is 250 mm; effective width of web is 750 mm and depth between web-to-flange attachments is 725 mm. The spar is to carry an ultimate shear force of 100 kN maximum permissible shear stress is 165 N/mm2. It is required that the shear stress should not exceed 15 times the critical shear stress for the web panel. Assuming angle of diagonal tension to be 40 Calculate stiffener end load and secondary bending moment in the flanges.
