Sainsburys Active Kids Vouchers

Were taking part in Sainsburys Active
Kids 2015 to collect for an exciting
range of equipment and experiences
and help children to eat well, move well
and live well. Active Kids vouchers can
be collected from 28 January until 5
May at all Sainsburys stores, petrol
stations and when ordering groceries
online.
Please send any vouchers in to the
school office. Thank you.

Visitor to school
We had a visit yesterday from our
school adviser, Mrs Belbin.
She was very complimentary about
the childrens behaviour and attitude
towards learning.
Mrs Belbin commented particularly on
the childrens excellent behaviour and
manners. Well done girls and boys!

whole school since
September. Fantastic!
Please make sure your child
is in school every day

appointment during the late

Internet safety

Outdoor Learning

It has come to our attention that some children are

playing computer/console games which involve making
contact with other players online.

All classes will experience outdoor learning this

term. Some of this will be provided by a specialist
Forest Schools teacher, Mrs Macleod. Provisional
dates for this are as follows:

Please take this opportunity to check what your

child is playing on their tablets etc. and ensure that
you/they know who they are playing with.

Increasingly we are experiencing problems when

arguments which start online are then affecting the
childrens behaviour and attitude in school next day.
We will be advising the children about online safety
and etiquette. Please support us by doing the same.

Internet Safety briefing for parents

Miss Murray is holding an Internet Safety briefing
for parents on the following dates and times. Please
put these dates in your diary. The meetings will be
held in Year 5 classroom.
Monday 2nd March at 3.30pm
Tuesday 3rd March at 6.30pm

You may like to ask your child what they have

learned on these days!
Please complete the consent slip sent home
recently. This will cover your child for the
remainder of the year.

Leave during term time

Leave during term time is detrimental to your childs
education and will not be authorised unless there are
exceptional circumstances. Holidays will not be
authorised.
Leave is especially detrimental at the start of
the school year. Parents should not book holidays
which overrun our September starting date of
Tuesday 2nd September.
