Good Day.

Based on Substation Work as per clause 3.02 to 3.08 pages 41 to 44 of 108 in
PTS#12SO316, please find below our clarifications:
1. Clause 3.02
A) 80 MVAR SHUNT REACTORS for BISHA circuits are included in the SOW of
SHUQAIQ-2 Substation PTS # 12SN305; hence we understood this item will be
done by other. Please confirm.

B) EXISTING SYSTEM MODIFICATIONS AT EXISTING SHUQAIQ - 1 380kVS/S,
EXISTING KUDMI 380kVS/S , EXISTING ABHE 380kVS/S and NEW ONGOING
BISHA AND ASIR 380kVS/S. The control, annunciation, metering and
monitoring schemes for these Substations should be provided to us in order
to start our work.
2. Clause 3.03
The metering requirements at existing SHQ-1, KUDMI, ABHE 380kV
substations shall be newly provided or modified. So please provide us the
existing metering data for these Substations in order to start our work.
3. Clause 3.04
Provide and upgrade/modify alarm/annunciation at existing SHQ-1, KUDMI,
ABHE 380kV substations as per 38-TMSS-05 and TES-P- 119.27, Rev.01. So
please provide us TES-P- 119.27, Rev.01 and existing alarm/annunciation
data for these Substations in order to start our work.
4. Clause 3.05
COMMUNICATION SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS as per Appendix-VI there is no
Communication equipment like SDH, DVM, PSE and Media Converter only
required OPGW, UGNMFOC, OFMR and civil work. Hence we understood this
item will be done by OHL Contractor. Please confirm.
5. Clause 3.06
For Protection requirements, refer to Appendix-VII of Shuqaiq-2 Substation
PTS # 12SN305. We understood this PTS # 12SN305 under other Contractor
and not in our scope. Please confirm.
6. Clause 3.07
For SCADA, DSM and SOE requirements refer to Appendix-IX of Shuqaiq-2
Substation PTS # 12SN305. We understood this PTS # 12SN305 under other
Contractor and not in our scope. Please confirm.
7. Clause 3.08
Auxiliary Supply Voltage at existing SHQ-1, KUDMI, ABHE 380kV substations.
