I have had the pleasure of working with Ms. Jones-Moran for the 2015-2016 school
year. Ms. Jones-Moran was one of our founding teachers at Empowerment Academy
and has contributed such amazing teaching skills, resources, and knowledge to our
school. Ms. Jones-Moran is a very unique, resourceful, and innovative teacher. She has
a can-do attitude and is very well-liked by her students as well as other staff members.
One of the most noticeable assets of Ms. Jones-Moran is her impressive classroom
management skills. Whenever I observed Ms. Jones-Moran, her classroom was working
like a well-oiled machine; students were on task, engaged in the lessons, and
participating above and beyond curriculum expectations. Ms. Jones-Moran had her
students writing and reading well above curriculum goals. Ms. Jones-Moran has an
amazing sense of cultural awareness and communicates efficiently with the families in
our school. Ms. Jones-Moran always has a smile on her face and is willing to get her
hands dirty if it means her students will learn. She runs a tight ship and her students
benefit greatly.
Overall, I hope that you consider Ms. Jones-Moran for a position within your district. She
would be a great asset to your students, families, and other educators. Thank you for
