Fire-Drill 2:00 Tuesday, Aug.

2nd
1. Kindergarten staff will meet their class outside at P.E.
2. 2nd grade have students packed up prior to 2:00. Right after the fire-drill enter the
building, get student back-packs, and go outside to P.E.
3. It is okay to discuss the fire-drill with students earlier in the day. This is a practice drill.
4. Bring class-lists and red/yellow/green construction paper sheets with you outside.
a. Green= I have all my students
b. Yellow= I have an extra student
c. Red= I am missing a student
5. Wait with your students until a staff announces all clear.

Lock-Down 11:10 Thursday, Aug. 4th

1. 5th grade please pick-up students at 11:05 so you are in your room by the drill.
2. 3rd grade please wait to go to prep until the Lock-Down is complete.
3. You will hear an announcement from the office about the need to practice different things
to keep our schools safe.
a. You will be instructed to do the following:
b. Close blinds
c. Turn off lights
d. Move to an area of the room that you can not be seen from the hallway
4. After the announcement office staff will walk through the building to make sure plans are
followed.
5. We will then make an announcement that the lock-down is complete and you can go
about your day.
