Difficulties with Writing
Everyone has issues with writing no matter who you grow out to be. Mine
happens to be using the word and a lot or even repeating words instead of using
synonyms. Sometimes I even write sentences that do not make sense but after proof
reading, I correct my mistakes. When it comes to explaining a quote I never introduce it
correctly or explain it appropriately. To top it off, I have no idea how to cite my quote or
even my references! Another issue of mine is getting my thesis sentence together. It is a
major struggle I always go through when beginning my introduction. Not only is it
difficult to write sentences but also figuring out what Im going to talk about. I know it is
a good idea to have an outline but even that is difficult to fill out. I often feel my main
points are not strong enough and when I need to conclude my paragraph, it is hard to not
repeat what I just finished saying.
