After spending a number of years in different sectors as a professional, manager, executive and company
owner, I decided to become an angel investor and got accredited by Republic of Turkey, Undersecretariat of
Treasury as of April 2015. I am a founding partner of TRangels Angel Investors Network and a member of
BUBA (BUMED Business Angels Network).

Secretary General - Sabanci Museum
September 2010 - Present (6 years 2 months)
Sakip Sabanci Museum has a collection of Ottoman Calligraphy and early Turkish paintings.
An important mission of this museum is to introduce world renown artists (i.e Picasso, Dali, Rodin, Miro,
Rembrandt, Monet) to the Turkish art community.
I manage all operations (Finance, IT, Maintenance, Marketing, Public Relations, Education) except curatorial
works; prepare and execute yearly operational plans, budgets.
Some of my recent achievements are;
- Renovation of Calligraphy Exhibition with Augmented Reality implementation
- Complete renewal of web which has received a prize
- Completion of ten exhibitions within budget
- Production of 'Sakip Sabanci' art piece, book and the short film for the 10 th anniversary (2012)
- Streamlining education, maintenance and cleaning operations that resulted in major
savings in annual budget
- Initiating a joint project with Google 'googleart'

August 2007 - March 2010 (2 years 8 months)
As the first employee, I was responsible for establishing and managing all non-academic units such as
Finance, IT, Operations, HR, Quality, External relations, Library. We were able to commence education
within 14 months.
Because of my previous experience in education. I was also involved in the marketing of Executive MBA
program.

I made a conscious decision to quit IBM and establish my own company to do sales training and consulting.

March 1983 - September 2005 (22 years 7 months)
I joined IBM Turkey as an IT salesman and had a unique chance to work in various challenging posts;
Instructor at New Hires Training Center in Istanbul where I class managed and instructed "Business
Fundamentals", "Marketing Systems" and "Sales School" for the salesman of Turkey, Greece, Egypt,
Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Gulf States; Winback Marketing Manager; Marketing Manager for
Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan; Hardware Marketing Manager.
I was invited to '100 Percent Club' meetings several times because of my success. I was on global
Executive Resources list.
Last 10 Years
1999 2005 Manager of IBM Global Services , Istanbul
I had the P&L responsibility for Outsourcing, Technology Services (which included hardware, software
maintenance and warranty services), Business Consulting, Systems Integration Services and Customer
Education business lines. I was delivering 66 mio USD annual revenue and managing 350 people . I lead a
number of critical projects successfully during the bumpy economic times in Turkey. To name a few;
- Served as a Board Member in POS Inc. (an IBM subsidiary) and I-BIMSA Inc.
(50/50 joint Venture of IBM and Sabanc# Holding)
- Transformed an internal department for maintaining high volume products into a full
scale independent company named Seri Ltd. with 10 mio USD annual revenue
- Managed the local merger of PriceWaterhouse Coopers Consulting following the
worldwide purchase by IBM
1995 - 1999 Manager of IBM Global Services Institute, La Hulpe, Belgium
This international center provided education for new hires, consultants and project managers. My staff
consisted of 16 certified professionals from 10 different nationalities. I was managing annual budget of
10 mio USD. I have successfully deployed a standard New Hire training across Europe, Middle East and
Africa.

November 1981 - March 1983 (1 year 5 months)
I was responsible for procurement of mechanical parts for the Libyan sites at Misurata and Tobruk.

based on numerical output of Finite Element Analysis tool results.
