temperatureofthetransmittedfluid,andusuallyareincludedinthe
fieldofPipingDesign(orPipingEngineering).Pipingsystemsare
documentedinpipingandinstrumentationdiagrams(P&IDs).If
necessary,pipescanbecleanedbythetubecleaningprocess.
"Piping"sometimesreferstoPipingDesign,thedetailedspecificationof
thephysicalpipinglayoutwithinaprocessplantorcommercial
building.Inearlierdays,thiswassometimescalledDrafting,Technical
drawing,EngineeringDrawing,andDesignbutistodaycommonly
performedbyDesignerswhohavelearnedtouseautomatedComputer
