It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to write this letter in support of Maria
Robson, highlighting some of her great qualities and experiences.

Marias professionalism was very evident while she was working collaboratively with her
students. She took the appropriate time necessary with those students that needed additional help and
was able to help students understand the concepts that were more demanding. It became clear very
quickly that she displays great care and concern for all students, through her rapport and kind-hearted
attitude. The students responded very well to her gentle manner.

She enjoyed working with all her students in both small and large group settings. Her passion for the
Religion curriculum was very evident as I watched her deliver her lessons to the Gr. 9 and 10 classes.
She was able to engage the students through her positive attitude and encourage students to do their
best!

I was very fortunate to have Maria in my classroom last year as part of her placement. I truly
appreciated her assistance, initiative, ideas and professional nature. Having an additional positive role
model in the classroom made a significant difference in my classroom last year.

Furthermore, Maria eagerly volunteered for some school related events including helping with one of
our outdoor barbeque event, coming in prior to her placement to meet the students, and planning a final
celebration day for her students. The fact that she put in extra time with these events as well as went
over and above with her planning for lessons made her placement a very worthwhile experience for my
students as well as for her teaching practice.
