Summary of the Study
Title of the study : Emotional Intelligence and its relationship to the Quality of Life of
students advisors in Yanbu governorate . The study aimed to identify the relationship
between Emotional Intelligence and the Quality of Life of students advisors in Yanbu
governorate , And verify the existence of differences in emotional intelligence and the
quality of life and attributable to the rehabilitation counselor variables (specialist - non-
specialist), Years of Experience, Predictability and quality of life through Emotional
Intelligence , use Researcher linking comparative descriptive method , The study sample
consisted of (136) male advisors and female advisors from students guides who work at
government general education schools in three stages (Primary - Preparatory Secondary)
for boys and girls in Yanbu governorate , During the second semester of the academic
year 1434/1435 AH, And researcher used measure of Emotional Intelligence of
preparation (Osman and rezq 2001 ) Prepared and systematized the Saudi environment
- Balawi 2004 , And Quality of Life gauge preparation ( ABDALLA 2008) , And the results of
the study reached that there are correlation positive statistically significant relationship
between emotional intelligence and quality of life among students advisors in Yanbu
governorate And that there are no differences in Emotional Intelligence and Quality of Life
attributed to rehabilitation counselor (specialist non-specialist) , As the results showed
that there are statistically significant differences in Emotional Intelligence and Quality of
Life are attributable to experience , There are also significant differences in Emotional
Intelligence and Quality of Life differences in the direction of the female advisors And that
Emotional Intelligence contributes contribution statistically significant differences in
predicting the Quality of Life Study Recommendations : In light of the results The study
recommended the promotion of Emotional Intelligence at both male and female students
advisors and scientific workshops and courses for of all counselors to develop and enhance
Emotional Intelligence as well as special curriculum to include rehabilitation both male and
female students advisors with vocabulary to develop the skill of Emotional Intelligence,
and also benefit from the predict equation to predict reached by The study between
Emotional Intelligence and

Quality of Life.
