Description of the artifact and how it meets the standard and criteria:

The artifact that I chose to include to show my competency in standard 2C is a rubric

that was used during our culture fair. The specific rubric that I have included is for the
paper that the students had to write about their country. It demonstrates me using ideas
and information across content because it was a paper that was done with the language
arts teacher.

Reflection on the artifact:

This artifact directly shows the use of cross content curriculum. I worked side by side
with the language arts teacher to establish what we wanted this rubric to like, what the
requirements for the paper were, and how the students would accomplish writing the
paper. The students were able to work on this paper in the social studies classroom, to
get help on content from me, and in the language arts classroom, to get help on the
grammatical aspect of the paper from the language arts teacher.
