1-How does the teacher make sure the students are prepared for the day?
In the morning before they start the lesson, the teacher asks the students about how they feel and
how is their morning. She also makes them more comfortable by saying (duaa) with them, Then
when she finish and when the teacher knows that they're ready, she starts the lesson and the
students listen to her.

2-How many tasks do they complete in one hour?


They cover two activities in one hour. They take the general thing, for example, the letter and how it
looks like, then they learn about it and learn some words that start with the same letter.

3-Did the teacher use a variety of different types of learning activities?


Yes, The teacher uses several activities such as writing the letter, watching videos about the letter,
coloring the letter and they also pronounce the letters.

4-What materials did they use?


They used glue, papers, scissors, dots, projector and every day they use a different material.

5-Were the instructions, explanations and questions clear and appropriate for the students needs?
Give examples.
Yes, because students know the roles very well and they respond to it. For example one of the roles
says that students can't go to the washroom unless they take permeation from the teacher when they
want to go. If the teacher says no they stay in class while when the teacher says yes they go to
the washroom.

6-What strategies did the teacher use to ensure the students understand what they are about to do?
The teacher tell them what theyre going to take and then she ask them about it to make sure if they
understand or not.

7-How does s/he make sure all students are involved and attentive?When they finish, the teacher
moves around them and see their work. By this, she knows whos not involved with the others.

8-What signals can you identify that they have had enough?

When they start talking to each other and playing during the activities.

9-What signals that they are proud of their achievement or disappointed?

When they show everyone their word and when the teacher feels that theyre excited, they are proud
of their achievement. But when they feel bored and sad they are disappointed with their work.

10-How do they demonstrate their frustration?

You know that they're disappointed when you see them sad and when they say (I don't know and I
can't).

11-Do they observe others?

Yes, when one of the students does something, some of them observe him and do the same as he
did.

12-Do they interact with another child during the task?

Yes, they interact with each other during the activities. They help each other, and they also work in
groups most of the time.

13-What do they say or do while completing the tasks?

They tell the teacher that they have finished and wait for the teacher to tell them what they have to
do next.
