CT STUDY OF CHEST PLAIN

Bronchial dilatation is seen in proximal bronchi in both lower lobes


and in upper lobes. Patchy parenchymal opacities are seen in both upper
lobes .Patchy areas of ground-glass haziness are seen in both lungs.
No evidence of any area of consolidation or any mass lesion is seen.

No pleural effusion or pleural thickening is seen on either side.

Few enlarged mediastinal nodes are seen ,largest measuring 13x10mm.

Trachea is central.

Heart size is normal.

Esophagus is seen normally.

Fractures right 6th and 7th ribs are seen.

Soft tissues are seen normally.

OPINION:

BILATERAL BRONCHIECTATIC CHANGES WITH PATCHY PARENCHYMAL OPACITIES WITH


PATCHY AREAS OF GROUND-GLASS HAZINESS.
FEW ENLARGED MEDIASITNAL NODES.
RIGHT SIDED FRACTURE RIBS.

?? ALLERGIC BRONCHO-PULMONARY ASPERGILLOSIS .?? SEQUALE OF OLD


KOCH CHEST.

Clinical correlation is necessary.
