Brief description of The overall contract management of ISAP Consultancy
1. duties/tasks entrusted.(in Services, RUSS Consultancy Services , Asset
about 100 words) Management Consultancy Services, as per contract
 stipulations ,have been carried out as entrusted. The
Budget provision for HRD & Training Cell, Training Plan
and budgetary assessment for FY 2017-18 has been
prepared and reviewed. As Nodal Officer of Road
Safety Cell, processed the News Paper Publication of
Press Communique on Odisha Outdoor Advertisement
and Hoarding Policy 2015 has been made and notified.
Monitored the Road safety Audits being carried out by
experts of CRRI, New Delhi and Internal Road Safety
Auditors of Works Departments. Timely communicated
to Field Level SEs and EEs of (R&B) wing on
adherence of Road Safety countermeasure
implementation on potential hazardous road stretches
and on identified Black spot Locations. Delivered all
functions of SE (Roads), as entrusted, as an additional
tasks. Also assigned the tasks to complete the revision
of OPWD Code Revision.
All activities as envisaged under original RSID
Consultancy Contract have been completed without any
cost overrun to the satisfaction of ISAP Review
Committee and the World Bank. Target expenditure
were achieved during FY 2016-17 due to timely
management of Contract and efficient disposal of
invoice claims. The budget provision, Training Plan for
operalisation of an in-house HRD & Training Cell of
Works Department at Nirman Soudha, has been
finalised with incorporation of TRaining Calendar of
Training Institutions . All Road and Bridge works under
State Plan/ Central Road Fund/ CRDP/ SHDPs took off

Works Department Engineers in collaboration with
CRRI, New Delhi. within a short-time span of 2-3
months were the major out-comes in this Financial
Year. Completed the draft revision of Volume-I OPWD
Code for placing before Code Revision Meeting.
