WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE WE STUDYING THIS WEEK?

Parents,

This week, our scientists are exploring our universe, taking their exploration
beyond our solar system, through our stars, and into our Milky Way Galaxy!
They will begin buildings models in class of our solar system, put together a
presentation about various stars and constellations in our universe, and take
a ride in a rocket through virtual reality.

As always, you are welcome to come see your childs projects and
presentations during class time. We will video their presentations for those
who are unable to make it. The videos will be sent to your email upon
request.

Since we will be busy in class, there will be no homework this week. However,
some questions you can ask them at home are:
Who was the first person on the moon?
What is a nebula?
Do you think our solar system is the only one with intelligent life? Why or
why not?
Having these discussions at home are helpful for our discussions in class.

I appreciate everyones hard work and focus during STAAR testing. You
should be proud of your child!

Sincerely,
Miss Tyra
