Mingalar par. My name is Noble (Nyein
Chan San). I am the eldest son of U Myoe
Aung and Daw Tharyar Thu Win. I have a
little brother whom I love very much. I was
born in Yangon, and lived there until I was 2
years old. After that, my family migrated to
Singapore, in search of better opportunities.
Singapore is a beautiful country. Modern
skyscrapers stretch into the air while the
tropical climate is reminiscent of paradise.
I remember I was in kindergarten at Saint
Francis Private School in Singapore. It was
a lovely place, but I would not stay there
very long. By the time I was six years old,
my parents brought me over to Los Angeles,
California, where I have stayed for most
of my life.

I currently attend Walnut High School.

This upcoming year, I will be a junior, go-
ing into the 11th grade. Ever since the 9th
grade, I have been president of my class.
The best class I have ever taken is called
Human Geography. This class teaches you
about the motivations behind peoples
everyday actions and how those actions
contribute to their community as a whole. By
taking the course, I was inspired to join our
schools Model United Nations club. This is a
club where students from all over Southern
California come together to discuss and
argue about international affairs, policy,
and issues. By working hard, speaking a
lot, and researching tremendous amounts,
I have won numerous awards such as the
Best Delegate award within the program.
The club has given me a lot of insight into
the problems of many countries. I urge my
peers in Myanmar to take part in the politics
of the country. Like all young people, you are
the future of your country and must work to
make the living conditions better and solve
the existing problems.

Some hobbies I have include football
(American), trombone, movies, and songs.
I have played football since the 9th grade.
It is a tough sport, and requires one to be
able to withstand pain. I started playing
the trombone in the 7th grade. Thankfully,
I have been able to perform in prestigious
music halls such as the world famous Chi-
cago Symphony Hall. In 2016, I marched
with the Pasadena City College Honor
Band in the 127th Historic World Famous
Rose Parade. Aside from classical music,
my favorite musician would be Bruno Mars.
Johnny Depp is my favorite actor and his
role as Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the
Caribbean is an absolute gem. I love to go
back to Burma to model or act. I will never
forget the night I met with Daw Tin Moe
Lwin (Talents & Model ) in LA recently. I
love fashion & art. I watch my style very
carefully & follow fashion influences. I help
my mom home decoration. May be one day,
I will become an actor or a model.

Currently, I keep myself busy with study-

ing and schoolwork. I sometimes help my
father with his projects whenever Im avail-
able. He is a licensed registered Mechanical
Engineer with almost two decades of experi-
ence, in consulting engineering sector who
designs HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air
Conditioning) systems. I also do some house
chores for my mom. Both my parents are
hard workers and so I will have to work even
harder to achieve higher than them. They
have immigrated to multiple countries: each
time facing immense challenges. They have
endured through discrimination, language
and social barriers all to provide a better
life for my brother and me. They inspire me
each and every.

I would like to receive an MBA at the

university. One of my idols is Elon Musk.
His intellectual attributes as well as his ex-
traordinary business savvy has helped him
go from an immigrant from South Africa to
a technology tycoon with multi-billion dollar
companies. He finds a way to help others
while making money at the same time. One
of my dream in life is to be an entrepreneur,
so that one day, I can run many successful
companies just like he does. Quite recently,
I have started an online international import
business.

Burma is a beautiful country with a

culture like no other. I am proud to be a
Burmese and will always consider Yangon
as my home. The Shwedagon Pagoda is my
favorite place. I have never seen anything
as majestic as Shwedagons massive golden
spiral. I respect the generosity of the people
of Burma, as almost every single family

donates money to other organizations. I

am a proud Buddhist and have been since
I was little. My younger brother and I al-
ways say Triple gems of Buddhism as a
morning prayer. In all sincerity, I believe the
Burmese have the best food. Mohinga, Oh
No Kao Swe, and Chin Paung Kyaw are all
favorites. I would like to participate actively
in rural regions of Burma to promote health,
knowledge & education if I am given a
chance after high school.
