Peterson, who has recently applied for a position in your school district. I feel qualified to share
my knowledge of Tashas character, dedication, and professionalism, as she worked under my
supervision in the Summer 2012 English Language Learner Program within our district, servicing
ELL students in grades one through three in a four week, half-day program. This experience has
afforded me extensive opportunities to observe Tashas expertise as a knowledgeable,
self-motivated, and conscientious teacher.

As Tashas supervisor and lead teacher in the Summer Program, I consulted and collaborated
with her on numerous lessons. Tasha consistently created each of her lesson plans with the
utmost care, focusing on the individual needs of each learner within her classroom. Tasha is
keenly adept at meeting the developmental needs of all learners and is able to carefully scaffold
instruction as needed to provide successful opportunities for a variety of learning styles.

I have also had the opportunity to observe Tashas devotion to teaching and to her students in
the classroom. The children respond very well to Tasha; it is a pleasure to observe her warm
rapport, empathetic nature, and respectful sense of confidentiality while maintaining an
exemplary level of classroom management.

I strongly believe that Tasha would be an asset to any school district and highly recommend her
