New Junior Infants
Our new junior infants are settling in so well and Mrs. Looney reports that they are doing great work. From next

Monday 18th of September, they will be finishing school at 1.30pm. From now on please drop your child around to
the playground anytime from 8.40am to 8.50am before school starts.
Sciath na Scol

We have our first Sciath na Scol match of the season next Tuesday v Aghabullogue at 12.15pm in Aghabullogue
School. We will be organising a mini-bus for the players. Could each player remit 5. The bus cost is also being
subsidised by the Board of Management.

Active School Survey
We are putting a link for our Active School Survey up on the school website. Please have a look at this and complete
the survey before Friday 22nd of September. If you do not have access to a pc you may get a copy of the survey from
the school office.
Parents Association AGM
The AGM for the Parents Association will take place next Monday at 8pm. The meeting will be followed by a
presentation to Mrs. Nellie OBrien who is retiring from kitchen duties for the card players every Tuesday night. As
many of you know Mrs. OBrien has been coming to the school every Tuesday night for over 25 years. She is looking
forward to putting her feet up at home for the winter. It would be great if those of you who know her could be
there for the presentation.
