environment What materials will be used?
-Worksheet
-Technology source (iPad\iPod)

How will the learning environment be set up?

Children will be given worksheets, QR codes, and the iPad\iPod on desks (in groups)

Instructional Procedures:

Day 1:
I will bring the children together participating in this activity and explain the technology, QR codes, proper handling of
materials, and how the activity is set up. I will show the students how to use the scanner and the QR codes. After all the
explaining is done, I will pass out worksheets to the students with the codes on them and see how well they use the
technology to find the proper words on their papers! I plan to have different codes for each student, about 10-15 codes
per day, per student!
Day 2:
This day will be very similar to day 1! The children will get another worksheet with added vocabulary to try to match
using the codes! The children will get the hang of the activity in no time!

Extension
http://goqr.me/
This website allows you to make your own code! Students will be able to make their own codes.

Differentiated Instructional Support:

If I were to have a special needs student participating in this activity I would give the student the chance to decide if
he\she wants to participate in the activity or try making it easier for them to accomplish the activity (fewer words or
assistance)
