Both systems function
together to cleanse the
body; however, they
work together indirectly
by receiving blood from
the digestive system
and then filtering it out
through the excretory
system.
Excretory System

● Blood from the vein and artery goes to the kidneys


● The kidneys filter the blood by taking out unnecessary liquid
● The excess liquid travels through the ureter, then into the
bladder which holds urine
● Then releases the liquid when needed through the Urethra

● Soda bottles - Kidneys


● Tubes - Ureters
● Filter - Filters blood in the kidneys, turns into urine
● Bottom of soda bottle- Bladder

● Epithelial Tissue
● Pore Cell
● Duct Cell
● Gland Cell

● It digests the food and extracts the nutrients in the food


● It works and functions by using muscles to move the food
through your body
● It contains all four major tissue types: Epithelial, Connective,
Muscle and Nervous. It contains many types of cells, such as
goblet cells
● It's organized by the different organs, which include the mouth,
esophagus, stomach, and large and small intestines
