Pangkalahatang Samahan sa Filipino Leads the Celebration of “Buwan ng Wika”

With the theme, “Filipino: Wika ng Karunungan”, the Pangkalahatang Samahan sa Filipino initiated
the celebration of the Buwan ng Wika 2016 at EMNHS covered court last August 23, 2016.
The program started with the singing of the Philippine National Anthem that was conducted by Ms. Joralyn
Madali, Grade 11- Diamond. It was followed by an opening prayer led by Ms. Angera Gael Reyes, Grade 10-
Mercury. Moreover, Mrs. Ilen M. Magay, Head Teacher I gave an opening remarks. The students showed their love
for their own language through different presentations: Grade 7, Acrostics; Grade 8, Folk Dance; Grade 9, Dance
Interpretation; Grade 10, Song Interpretation; and Grade 11, Chorus Song. Also, the teachers presented a song
number. They sung Bayan Ko. Meanwhile, Mr. Edison M. Morada, Principal I, gave a message in relation to the
event.
Lastly, Ms. Ricalyn Nastor, president of Pangkalahatang Samahan sa Filipino gave her closing remarks by
reminding the students not to forget our own language. The masters of the ceremony were Ms. Rachelle Anne M.
Gepulla, Grade 9- Athena and Mr. Marc Dave M. Elemento, Grade 10- Mercury.
