To officially start the program Mrs. Maria Luz

P. Vendiola – Principal 1 of MLQ E/S gave her opening
remarks. Followed by two video clips about the Wom-
en’s Right presented by Mrs. Emelita B. Malabanan.

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No.227,

s. 1988 which declares the observance of the Month of
March as Women’s Role in History Month, Manuel L.
Quezon E/S joins in the observance of the 2019 Na-
tional Women's Month Celebration (NWMC) with the
theme: "We Make Change Work for Women" held at
Manuel L. Quezon E/S covered court last March 25,
2019.
The masters of ceremony of the said program
were Noelyn Calatrava and Alleiah Mheil Awa pupils
from Grade Five. The program started with the opening
prayer lead by Mrs. Minerva O. Obon, Teacher III, Grade
Five Sanggumay adviser. After the presentation of the video clip, Mrs.
Irene S. Beltran, Teacher I, gave a short reflection
about the film/video clips.

After this, intermission numbers were present-
ed by Grade Four Girls, a dance number by Grade Five
Girls as well as a dance number also by the Grade Six
Girls.
As part of the celebration a contest on Poster
Making was done. The contest proper which were done
a day before the program was participated by Interme-
diate pupils all were joined by female contestant. The
criteria for judging were Creativity/Presentation-40%,
Originality-30%, Releavance to the Theme-30% with a
total of 100%. The announcement of winners was pre-
ceded by Mrs. Emmalyn A. Manongsong, Teacher I,
Grade Five Carnation adviser. The winners of the Post-
er Making were Jelian D. Moleno, a Grade 4 pupil got
1st Place under Mrs. Marilyn A. Pabiania, 2nd Place -
Glad Mae Faith F. Quejano a Grade 5 pupil under Mrs.
Emmalyn A. Manongsong, 3rd Place - Stephanie Joy
Cantos a Grade 6 pupil under Mrs. Marife B. Fontanilla.
A closing song “Awit kay Inay” was led by
Grade Five Girls under Mrs. Irene S. Beltran to end the
program. The program was successfully done.
