Museum of Natural History
The Museum of Natural History (MNH) of the University of the Philippines Los Baños
(UPLB) is a center of documentation and a repository of biological specimens for
scientific reference. It is a center of research, information, and education. The museum
has a diverse collection of more than 200,000 preserved Philippine animals, plants,
cultures of living microorganisms, and other biota that showcase the country’s rich
biodiversity. It houses most of the priceless collections of birds and small mammals of
the late Dr. Rabor. Furthermore, in its Hortorium is a diverse collection of living plants.
The museum is also actively involved in public education through exhibits, lectures on
biodiversity, taxonomy, biology, and ecology of varied flora and fauna. Located at Los
Banos, Laguna.
Kamay ni Hesus Shrine, Lucban Quezon
Kamay Ni Hesus Hill Shrine is now Quezon’s most visited pilgrimage site – not only
during the Holy Week but all year round Kamay Ni Hesus Hill Shrine are divided into
two areas. Kamay Ni Hesus Hill Shrine are divided into two areas. Upon entering, you
will immediately be greeted by the different facilities surrounding the Kamay Ni Hesus
Healing Church on top of a man-made plateau situated at the first half of the 5-
hectare property. The plateau also houses the Marian Park, Angel’s Hills, a gallery of
saints (statues) all over, the retreat center, prayer room (blessed sacrament),
information office, religious stores, souvenir stores, restaurants . Another interesting
part of the church structure are the floors outside which is made up of cement tablets
with prayers and dedications engraved on it. It was part of the Church’s fund-raising
activity where families and individuals may donate a certain amount to the Kamay Ni
Hesus Ministry Foundation and be awarded with a slab of flooring where they can
have their prayers or special messages etched on it. KAMAY NI HESUS HEALING
CHURCH -A sacred grounds and piligrimage site for everyone who wants to repent,
give thanks and pray for healing. Kamay ni Hesus Healing Church is a 5-hectare
shrine constructed on February 2002 and located at Brgy. Tinamnan, Lucban, Quezon
that includes Via Dolorosa Grotto, Healing Church, Noah’s Ark, Sea of Galilie, Holy
Family Park, and the Pastoral Center founded by the Healing Priest, Fr. Joey Faller.
