* Circle It!; Divide students into 2 teams. Write the vocab words on the board. 2
students from each team race to circle the word I say with a piece of chalk, say
the word and then return the chalk to their team. The fastest team per round gets
a point
Phonics * Stone, paper, scissors: T puts cards in a line on the floor and
Practice invites 2 students to stand separately on two sides of the line. These
2 students play stone, paper and scissors and the winner can move
one step forward each time while reading the word. The first to
finish all words can get a star.
