Lesson idea implementation:

The teacher will go over causes that started World War II. The teacher will talk about the German aggression
in Europe and the Japanese aggression in Asia. The teacher will describe major events that occurred in Europe
and the Pacific that shaped the war and identify famous figures. The teacher will also discuss the atomic
bombs that ended the war.

For this activity students will be using Timeline to organize events in World War II. They will include at least
eight events they feel are necessary to know about the war. The students can use ipads, iPhones, or laptops
to complete the project. The students will present their timeline to the class and talk about the events they
chose and why they felt they were important to know. After the student has presented the teacher will
conference with each student and provide direct feedback.

Reflective Practice: To move this activity to Loti 5, the teacher could post their timelines on the classroom
website. Their timelines can also be referenced in future lesson plans to activate their background knowledge.
Their products are a great source to use to refresh their mind on WWII.
