To Whom It May Concern,

Jayda worked in my Grade One classroom at Dr. Gerald B. Elementary School as a PSI
student from the University of Lethbridge in the Fall of 2017. Jayda portrayed a very warm
and enthusiastic personality. She is flexible, positive, reliable, punctual, well-organized and
interacts naturally and comfortably with the students. Jayda has strong classroom
management skills and maximizes learner engagement. My students fully enjoyed their time
with Miss Wynia.

Jayda proved to be a responsible, reflective teacher. Jayda was very well planned and
organized for the lessons she taught. She was always open to feedback on how she could
improve her instruction. While Physical Education is her major, she demonstrated that her
teaching abilities were not exclusive to one subject. Jayda balanced teacher directed
instruction with active learning opportunities for all students. I was impressed with the effort
Jayda took to think up ways to present material that would be fun, organized and effective
in teaching the concepts to the students. She also demonstrated excellent communication
skills in an instructional setting.

Miss Wynia has experience dealing with a diverse and active group of learners. She
established and maintained classroom control while administering rules fairly and
consistently. Her friendly and supportive nature allowed her to be approachable by all
students and they responded well to her direction and guidance. Jayda demonstrated a
natural ability to create and foster relationships, both with the children and the adults in our
building. She maximized student engagement and appeared to truly enjoy working with
children.

Jaydas warmth and easygoing nature made the school day brighter for many students and
staff. I feel very fortunate that she was able to spend some time with us. I believe that Jayda
will be an excellent teacher and an asset to the profession. I am happy to recommend
Jayda Wynia for any position she may be applying for.
