Executive Summary

The researchers are looking forward for the innovation, development and production
improvement of the food industry. This research project is focused on learning how to market the
Carne Sazonado to its future consumers and making improvements that will make a huge twist in
a daily breakfast of every Filipino in the future.

The researchers come up with this product will offer a new blend of taste that may create
a different variety of flavours and also to put the meat industry on a higher level that may offer
the consumers a fresh, clean and a high quality product with a twist that will also support the
local.
Background of the Study

Carne Sazonado is derived from the Spanish word “seasoned beef”. The researchers
chose to derive the word as a tribute for the Spanish who brought the spices here in the
Philippines.

This product is composed of a freshly cut beef seasoned with different spices according
to the flavour demanded by the consumer. It is served as a daily breakfast of Filipinos along with
the rice and egg. The pindang or tapa is a beef seasoned with different spices, but the researcher
thought of the idea of making it into the next level by adding flavours that anyone will love.

The researchers innovates the product from the traditional tapa to different flavour such
as the sweet and sour, garlic and the spicy one. This will offer a new twist from the market
especially from the meat industry.
Introduction

Since we are living in the 21st century where innovation has been paving its way for
generations, there was an uncontrollable expansion and modernization in the food industry. It is
where every twist might fulfil a different craving from the taste of the Filipinos as well as in the
different countries.

Carne Sazonado will bring a new trend to the market as it will unveil a much high
standard with a fresh and clean processed meat. It will bring a blend of flavours as the
researchers manage to put a very own unique ideas of the product.

investment. It is one of the key stages to establish a product’s position in the food industry
especially on the meat section.

The researchers’ target market is adults especially mothers and businesses in the food
industry. As the demand in the said industry is growing, this will help the researcher to make
improvements of the product as it competes with different types of businesses.

Paving its way in making improvements to practices and knowledge as
well as satisfying the needs of the consumers by meeting their expectations to
serve the best quality products.

F. Product Development
In the making of this product, we have to consider a following process:
Prepare a freshly cut beef, slice it into thin strips, put it in a container, and pour
the soy sauce and ground pepper along with the flavour (sweet and sour, garlic or
spicy). Marinate it for 2-4 hours and put it in a sealed container. You may cook
and serve it with eggs, any time of the day.

In conclusion, based on the gathered information to improve the product, to be able to


compete and meet the standards of the consumers. This initial analysis will take place and serves
the foundation to develop such competitive products in the industry.

The innovation has paving its way might as well make unique twist with our very own
pindang. This will help everyone to satisfy and fulfil their cravings by offering a different set of
flavours. The researchers initially focused in the improvements, promotion, production and
marketing of the product.
