Differences in Life Quality Levels In Elderly Men And Women At

Work Area tresna favor of social institutions sajehtera south
Kalimantan province Year 2016.

Abstrak

Elderly is something that should be accepted as a reality and a biological

phenomenon.That life will end with the aging process that ends with deat.Quality
of life of the elderly is a complex component,covers life expectancy covers life
expectancy,satisfaction in life , psychological and mental health , fungsikognitif,
health and physical function, income,living conditions,social support and social
networks.This study aims to determine differences in the level of quality of life
inelderly men and women in the working area of social institutions tresna budi
sajahtera. The study design is that researchers examined the relationship between
variables in one study, the type of research is descriptive analytic. The research
sample 60 people consisting of 30 the elderly men and 30 elderly women, with
use test Mann-WhitneyU. test results hipotesis with different test Mann-WithneyU
in getting the results p=0,025 with α=0,05, then p< presence hipotesis be accepted.
Quality of life is good with high category as 8 the elderly woman in the Work Area
of social institutions tresna budi sejahtera South Kalimantan province .
