Introduction
The numbers of people who smoke have increase over the years. Although tjey
are equipped with the knowledge of how unhealthy smoking, they still choose to
smoke. Smoking does not only affect the smoker but also all the living and breathing
creatures. Therefore, smoking should be banned in all public places.
1) Promote a healthier lifestyle
Sends the message that the government cares about the health of the citizens and
the government discourages people from smoking.
Reminds people that health is very important.
Conclusion
Agree that smoking should be banned in all public places
TOPIC 2 : Violent video games to children.
Introduction
Violent video games have negative impact on child is it’s negative physical
consequences.
1) Cause mental disturbance in children
makes children habitual and diverts their concentration from their purposeful
school studies and at the result poor school performance is seen in children.
children learn obsessive language and violent behavior from these violent video
games which disturb child’s mental status.
2) Cause psychosocial problems
interaction with family is reduced which makes child psychosocially isolated.
Children take these games as a role model and behave like the character which
leads to aggressive behavior, obsessive language and other behavior problems.
3) Empathy is lost more readily in children who play violent games
They are being programmed only to experience joyful sensations associated with
violence
4) Producing more violent youngsters
Conclusion
Violent video games are harmful to children in many ways. It is important to aware
parents and children about the negative sequences of violent video games-introduce
technology to children at appropriate age with appropriate way.
TOPIC 3 : Causes and effects of depression for our health
Introduction
The emotion of sadness is normal in response to everyday stressful or upsetting
events like losing a loved one or running into financial difficulty. These feelings are
usually only temporarily and should resolve once the grieving period is over or once
the disturbing event has been resolved.
Causes of depression
1) Genetic factor
tends to run in families and if an individual has a close relative who suffers from
depression it naturally increases that individual’s risk of also developing
depression.
The biological aspect of depression is very closely related to the genetic one,
since an individual’s genes will influence the biological working of his or her
body.
2) Imbalance in the important neurotransmitters of the brain.
Scientists believe it is as a result of the hormonal changes women are exposed to
during their monthly cycle that may also influence the neurotransmitters in the
brain.
the rapid hormonal changes after giving birth is believed to be one of the mayor
factors leading to postpartum depression.
3) Environmental Factor
the loss of a loved one, divorce, losing a job or failing at an important task.
1) Trouble sleeping
This condition can leave them feeling exhausted, making it difficult to manage
both physical and mental health.
3) Chronic pain
People with depression may experience unexplained aches or pains, including
joint or muscle pain, breast tenderness, and headaches.
