Sub-Coordinator: Kids Fun Run

1. Set up
2. KIDS FUN RUN
a. Oversee the Event/ Knows Timeline and sticks to timeline
b. Gather kids to starting line
c. “Ready Set Go!”
d. As kids are running, gathers the three kids awards
e. Stands at finish line to make note of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners
f. Presents awards (trophies) to winners!
g. TRANSITION: Gather volunteers and directs kids and parents to sign-making table and
Kan Jam and notes that the main race will start at 10am
3. TRANSITION: At 9:40 directs any parents and kids who are still on the field or at the sign-making
table over to starting line for main race
4. Helps to clean up activities after kids fun run
5. END OF RACE
a. Fills in where there are any gaps
6. Clean Up
Sub-Coordinator: Group Two/Race Route
1. Set up
2. Talks with Taylor about tables for water stations and bringing materials to race route positions
3. RACE ROUTE
a. At 9:00am gathers group together to send them to their specific positions on the route
b. Takes car to drop off materials and group members/ verifies that everyone is in position
c. Confirms with VC that everyone in position BEFORE 10AM (ideally at 9:50)
4. As race is going on—helps with clean-up/ prep for end of race
5. Once race is over, takes car out on race route to pick up any group members and pick up
materials
6. Clean Up
Sub-Coordinators: Group Three/End of Race
1. Set Up
2. Greet and direct people to kids fun run/registration etc.
3. TRANSITION: At 9:40 AM help gather people to go to the starting line
4. TRANSITION: After Race begins at 10AM: Clean Up tables/Sets up end of race stations (food,
water, awards, kitty litter, first aid and ambulance)
5. Gather group members to get them to their positions for end of race
6. END OF RACE:
a. Makes sure that their group members are in position
b. Fills in where necessary
c. Directs runners/walkers to these stations
7. Clean Up
