Mission
Vision
• Our vision is to build the ADMC Engineering Pvt. Ltd. as Nepal's most client-
centric consultancy firm; where people can access and obtain any kind of geo-
information services supported by state-of-the-art technologies for the solution
of their geospatial problems including all kinds of civil engineering consultancy
services from highly qualified and experienced professionals.
Objectives
• Hydropower
• Roads
• Irrigation
• Transmission lines
• Water Supply and Sanitation
• Buildings
– Tourist maps,
– Hiking maps
– Profile maps,
– Administrative maps,
– Relief maps,
– Aeronautical charts
Maps are the basic important tools for all-round development of the nation. To some
extent, the Survey Department of the Government of Nepal has been providing some
maps since last 30 years. All these maps are derived from the base maps of 1:1 mile
series and topographical base maps which the Survey of India and the Department itself
have published respectively. All these derived maps are supporting the administrative
and planning purposes in the country.
To fulfill the growing demands of various types of topographical, thematic and profile
maps, only the government mapping organizations are not sufficient to provide all the
required maps and information to other organizations and public users. Realizing this
fact, private map making companies are also felt necessary so that they would be able to
render these kinds of services quickly on demand.
Basically, this company has aimed to provide services in making all kinds of thematic
maps i.e. tourist maps, profile maps, administrative maps, relief maps, aeronautical
charts etc. Based on the study and requirement of different aspects of map users, this
company has planned to survey, produce, print and publish different types of maps in
the future.
According to the Act, Law and Regulations of the Government of Nepal (Land
Measurement Act and Rules 2058), private companies can produce and publish different
types of maps after obtaining the permission of the Survey Department.

ADMC Engineering Pvt. Ltd - Company Profile
This company is already producing some administrative and political maps of the
Kingdom of Nepal and has planned to print and publish more such maps in the near
future. The Survey Department has granted permission for the following maps:
In addition to the above, this company has been providing consultancy services for the
planning, topographical surveys, design and construction supervision/management of
different projects especially in the fields of Hydropower, Transmission Line, Roads,
Water Supply and sanitation, irrigation, and building infrastructure inclusive of Land
acquisition work, preparing GIS database on request and conducting trainings on
Advance GIS and Graphic Designing.
This company is well equipped with productive manpower and other resources for
manual and computer aided maps production. We have our own Digital
Photogrammetric Workstation with Stereo 3D Samsung Monitor for processing satellite
imageries. Both manual and computer technology have been adopted as suitable for
various types of map production. The company itself manages all production work,
scanning, contact photography and printing services.
Our professional involvement and experience has spanned for more than nine years in a
wide spectrum of infrastructure projects like roads, irrigation, transmission line, RCC
and suspension bridges, and water resources studies including hydropower, The firm
has long experience and resources (both human and equipment) in topographical
surveying and preparation of different kinds of maps including multi-colored thematic
mapping, Land Use Mapping, Soil mapping, Land capability mapping, Land use Zoning
and Socio-Economic survey for Land use zoning. The clientele base includes all major
government departments including Department of Roads (DOR), Department of
Irrigation (DOI), Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), Department of Mines and Geology,
Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal,
Department of Water Induced Disaster Prevention, different District Development
Committee (DDC) offices and a host of NGOs and INGOs.
Every development project necessarily implies a confrontation with Mother Nature, the
consequences of which are not all desirable. This fact deserves serious attention from
Nepalese planners and policy makers given that a bulk of the future development
activities will have to be centered on tapping the vast water resources of the country,
particularly developing hydropower projects of a range of scales. The negative
environmental impact of such projects may vary from site to site ranging from negligible
to quite serious. In recent years an increasing awareness to this effect is witnessed at
least at the policy levels, often dictated by the donors, resulting in the need to thoroughly
investigate the likely environmental impacts of hydropower projects. This calls for a
thorough understanding of the problem in its true perspective at all levels. Where as the
delicate balance between the economic development and the undesirable by-product of
it is to be decided at the policy level, the degree and extent of true damage to the

ADMC Engineering Pvt. Ltd - Company Profile
The firm has carried out inventory and detailed feasibility study of micro and small
hydro projects in the past. Although this experience has provided some exposure to the
EIA methodology, we have yet to engage in a full-fledged EIA of medium and large
hydropower projects. But, with the realization that this will remain as one of the major
field of consulting services in future of our country, we are fully prepared and equipped
with necessary vision and resources to face the upcoming challenges. Given the
opportunity, we promise an end product of world class quality in this particular
discipline by engaging highly qualified professionals and the state-of-the-art techniques
in the collection of data, assessment of the quality of data and their analysis.
