1 INTRODUCTION
Lalbandi is a municipality located in the Sarlahi District of Nepal. It was established in 2014
by merging five VDCs and has a population of 67,507 people. It is the largest municipality in
Sarlahi district and is known for its tomato production and diverse agriculture. The area is
becoming a center of attraction due to urbanization and increased business activity. The
municipality is working towards the goal of becoming a clean, beautiful, and prosperous city
and is moving forward unitedly for the prosperity and development of the area.

2 PROJECT AREA and LOCATION


All the word of the Lalbandi Municipality, Lalbandi, Sarlahi, Nepal.

3 OBJECTIVES OF THE CONSULTING SERVICE

The Overall objective of consulting services is to conduct Detail Land Boundary survey of Plot
and Prepared the Maps in GIS Format at above mentioned location.

4 SCOPE OF THE STUDY


The scope of work includes the following.
 To carry out data collection from ward office.
 To carry out detailed Cadastral survey and map of the area (1:500 scale).
 Plot Survey Data in GIS
 Identify land ward wise.
 Report Preparation.
 Furnishing all field data and drawings on CD apart from hard copies.
 Furnishing survey report as described in details in the succeeding paragraphs is also
included in the scope of work.

5 EXPECTED OUTPUT
The outcome of the project is predicted as follows:

 To carry out the detailed boundary survey by Total Station and DGPS (RTK), Coordinate is
Given from Municipality office .
 To prepare the Cadastral map in GIS Format.
 To prepare final Report.

6 WORK PLAN AND STUDY METHODOLOGY


The Work Plan and Methodology which the Consultant intends to follow in order to carry
out this job is presented in this chapter.

Activity-1.1: Field Mobilization


Activity-1.2: Collection and analysis of relevant primary and secondary data
Activity-1.3: Preparation Cadastral Survey and Cadastral Map Preparation

7 METHODOLOGY
The consultant after critical review of the objectives and the scope specified in the TOR, has
evolved a scientific study methodology to accomplish the project in the stipulated time
frame. The study methodology of the project has been described in the following phases. The
methodology has also been described in flow chart.

Field Mobilization

The Consultants shall establish within the first week a project office for use by the project
consultant staff. Other support and secretarial services will also be engaged as planned
within this first week. During this first week all professional manpower will be mobilized for
the study.

Collection and Analysis of Relevant Primary and Secondary Data

A preliminary site visit consisting of the Team Leader, Surveyor, and Data Processing Expert
will be carried out by the design team with a view of enabling team members to observe and
document firsthand the existing condition of the Site.

Cadastral Survey and Cadastral Map Preparation

The cadastral survey of sites at specified location shall be carried out to verify the existing
map and to obtain the other important features including physical features, Plot boundary.

Preparation of Preliminary Design Report

The consultant shall prepare cadastral map with all the details will plot in GIS format.

Incorporation of comments/suggestion from Client

The features of cadastral map shall be discussed with the Client and inputs/comments and
suggestions from the Client shall be noted for incorporation for further developments.

8 REPORT PRODUCTION
Draft Report
The consultant is obliged to submit 1 copies and electronic copy of Draft Final Report within
60 days from date of agreement from the date of work commencement.

Final Report
The consultant will submit Draft Report within 90 days from date of agreement from the
date of agreement incorporating all due suggestions received. The Final report will have
submit 3 copies and 3 electronic copy within 2 weeks from the receipt of comments on
Draft. All relevant data, figures, drawings, and other relevant documents will submit in a
compact disk.
