3. Explain in two or three sentences why you have chosen this article.

 In my opinion, this article is very informative and makes us realize that Indonesia still

has a lot of work to improve it’s education. Not as easy as changing a curriculum and

making education better. But, in order to achieve such goals, everyone involved from

the National Education Ministry to curriculum administrators and parents has to play an

active role.

4. Explain briefly in four or five sentences what the article is about.

 This articleis motivated by the problem of education in Indonesia which is still

considered poor. Not only it’s education still poor, but the mindset of children and

parents who are short sighted makes it worse. They prefer to work as soon as possible

rather than have higher education and eventually become unemployed or not get a

decent job. So, There are still many needed changes and evaluations needed to advance

education in Indonesia and it takes a long time to achive.

5. What’s the writer message or purpose in writing this article?

  The writer wants to open the eyes and mind of the readers. That education is very

important and very influential on a person’s development.

6. Give your personal comment on the article as a conclusion of your article review.

 I thought the author was very good at revealing information and describing the data.

This makes us think of finding solutions to solve this problem.
