Assignment Brief
You’re about to start working as a new presenter on a TV or Radio show, your first step into the world of
presenting. First though you will need to research different presenter styles to show you understand
what the role is and to prepare for it.
From your research you will compile a TV/Radio Presenter Report for your assignment. During class
you watched and listened to a range of presentation styles and purposes and analysed and
deconstructed them. Use the ‘Deconstruction Sheet’ and its headings and class discussions of selected
material to support your analyses of television and radio presenters. Your answers should include some
of the indicative content listed above. The Deconstruction Sheet(s) must be submitted with your
assignment.
Independent study is also encouraged, in order for you to provide evidence of individual achievement
and understanding. Using the scenario above, you will present the results of your research in a short
written report of 1000 words and a short recorded presentation to the class.
