Internet: The Lawbreaking Proscribe in the Philippines

We have all known that many people enjoy of using an Internet or Social Media,
they have no idea what is effect on them, Social media or Internet is our source of
information, facts about what happening to our world. But if you abuse it there’s a back
fight for it. Weaponizing the Internet by Maria Ressa it’s a strategy of death by a
thousand cuts- a chipping away at facts, using half -truths that fabricate alternative
reality by merging the power of bots and fake accounts on social media to manipulate
real people.

As you can see people may not aware of this, Social Media is our enjoyment
when we are boring, it’s lot of benefits to us, when we have a calamity we use it to be
aware of our surrounding. We use it to give us information and facts. But somehow this
is the one that causes of death of thousands of innocent people that have no tray. They
are trusted the Social Media or Internet but people may affect to this, like is someone
giving a data it is not truly true and its half- truths because they are fabricated the
alternative reality information or changing it. There’s a lot negative effects brought by
Weaponizing the Internet because we are living in the digital world that full of
interventions, we use social networking sites that is why we should be aware of these
things. We are the so called netizens. We should understand what is happening first,
and together let’s separate facts from fictions. For example: the bot is a program written
to give an automated response to posts on social media, creating the perception that
there’s a tidal wave of public opinion, and the other one is fake accounts is a
manufactured online identity, sometimes they all known as a troll depending on the
accounts behavior also they using someone picture to do something bad and to hide
their identity. So that if this kind of situation will be more on rating people may affected.
So that they must pursue it to limit using social media because its lot of negative effect,
manipulating the mind of million citizens. Internet is motivation for us to research about
more facts, have access in different country. It is source of our information but it had a
side effect to all, it is biased or misleading information use to spread facts.

So that people may aware of this, tell them that know they limitations, because
Social Media or Internet is dangerous for people, it’s had an antagonistic consequence.
People must have a wise thinking, have a lend knowledge to avoid harmful effect of
Social Media/Internet they have to be careful and read the written facts carefully so that
they must apprehensive and mindful. As a student I realize that we must alert using
Social Media or gadgets because we living in the digital world that full of fake news that
can harm, affect the people. Maybe the Social Media/Internet useful for us but not in the
end, so that they must control their self, using this Internet. They must think, people
within the social world and technological world may affect. Lots People engaging to the
Internet and they no idea how to stop it, it is because they exploit their mind and they
didn’t know how to stop it. And that our government must do some actions to avoid this
kind of situations and people were protected.
