2. Motivation: Video Clip
3. Presentation: Homogeneous mixtures are called solutions

B. Engage
1. Group and assigned the students to go to a store? grocery, or let the students identify
which among the products that you have brought are solutions.
2. Let the students describe the products in terms of color and appearance, odor, feel, and
taste ( for food products).
3. They may also search their kitchen shelves and storage areas at home to identify the
solutions they use at home. Let the students bring the product itself or the label of the
used product.
