On June 20, 2019 at exactly 2:00 in the

afteernoon a siren sound blurted for one
minute as a signal that an earthquake is
currently happening. Everybody in his/her
respective classes ducked and covered
themselves under their armchairs and
tables. After that, the teachers led their
advisory classes in heading to the
designated evacuation area located in front

Based on the observation during and

after the drill, the following problems were
encountered:
A. Though the pupils were properly
oriented, there were still some of
them who did not take the drill
seriously;
B. There were some pupils who were
seen disoriented and weren’t able to
go immediately in their assigned
queues; and
C. Some classes went out of their
respective classrooms a bit later after
the siren was sounded.
D. Some walkways are too narrow for
the students because of the on-going
construction of classroom building.

After seeing the aforementioned
problems, Sir Alvin J. Tolentino, together
with the Sir Ricardo O. Oestar (site 2) Sir
Mark Joseph M. Merano (site 3) and Sir
Dyan Lloyd Y. Flavier (site 1), gave a post
drill conference to reorient the students on
their behavior during the drill. They also
gave some warnings and reminders with
regard to panicking and avoiding stampede
in case that the real scenario happens.
drill was participated by a total of 63 teaching
and non-teaching personnel : 24 male and 39
female. A total of 1247 students also participate
in the said activity with 613 male learners and 634
female learners.
At the end of the conducted earthquake drill,
all participants returned to their respective
classroom, and the teachers also conducted a post
conference about the earthquake drill. This drill
served as preparation and practiced if there is any
unnecessary event will occur in the future.
