MEDTECH STANDOUT IN THE QUILL PRESSCON 2017

Medtech students was awarded as the most outstanding participants during the
Press Conference 2017 held at the MCNP-ISAP Reading Area, Alimannao Hills,
Peñablanca, Cagayan last February 2-3 with the team “Campus Journallism: A partner
towards transformational society, an answer to a societal change.”

Ms. Jhoanna Paulline Mamansag, the Quill (Official students’ publication) focal
person did the honor in introducing the four resource speakers of this two days
program who shared their knowledge about their respective topics and skills; Prof.
Rhodora Romero (Photojournalism) and Mr. Aldwin Addun (News Writing) in the first
day, Mr. Benjamin de Yro (Editorial Writing) and Mr. Santiago Pagulayan (Sports
Writing) in the last day.

During the end of the lecture, each speaker gave workshop and judge as well
the work of the participants right after the allotted time for them to finish the test.
Certificates of recognition were given to the selected writers based on their output in
the workshop activity.

Lastly, when the scores summed-up, the Medtech Department were on the first
list.
