A Narrative Report on the Field Study 2 Campus-Based Orientation

The Campus-Based Orientation for Field Study 2 was held last November 22.
2022 via Microsoft Teams. The said orientation was organized by the Pangasinan State
University-Bayambang Campus Practice Teaching & Review Center and was attended
by approximately 455 students from the College of Teacher Education.
The program started at exactly 9:16 a.m. through a prayer, followed by the
singing of National Anthem, ASEAN Hymn, Pangasinan Hymn, and PSU Hymn
respectively via an audio-visual presentation.
Dr. Gloria Capanang, one of the Field Study Mentors, proceeded with the
recitation of the University’s Quality Policy.
Afterwards, Ms. Melanie B. Ramos, a student from Bachelor of Secondary Education
Major in Communication Arts – Filipino, presented the participants which consist of 562
FS Students from BEEGE, BSE-Science, BSE-Math, BSE-English, BSE-Filipino, BSE-
Social Science, BTLED, and BPED.
After which, Dr. Emmanuel Ross B. Tomas, Chair of Professional Education
Department, delivered his opening remarks. An inspirational messages were delivered
by Associate Professor Perla Delos Santos, the Director of Practice Teaching and
Review Center, and Dr. Amado C. Ramos, Dean of the College of Teacher Education,
respectively.
The Field Study 2Course Requirements and Grading System was then discussed
by Dr. Rico A. Reyes, one of the FS Mentors.
After the discussion, an Open Forum was held to cater inquiries and clarifications
of the students about the upcoming conduct of Field Study 2.
Ms. Kimberly Inaldo, one of the FS Mentors, wrapped up the program by
summarizing the orientation and delivering the closing remarks. The program ended at
exactly 10:46 a.m.
Dr. Rico Reyes starts his discussion on the walkthrough of Field Study
