II. MEETING TIME 1


Message: We care for one another by forgiving and asking forgiveness (ESP)
Questions: When do you say “I’m sorry”? – Very good!
When do you say “I forgive”? – Well done!

III. WORK PERIOD 1


Teacher-Supervised: Story Sequence (Filipino)
Materials: Stories in three-part picture cards, powerpoint presentation
Procedure:
1. Show the learners the four picture cards that make up a story in random order.
Motivation: Look at the pictures flashed from the t.v. What can you say from the
pictures? (ICT)
2. Ask the learners to arrange the picture cards in sequence (beginning of the story,
middle, and ending).
3. Encourage the learners to tell the story in their own words. The learners’ mother
tongue may be used.
4. Ask the learners to say what the stories are telling them to do at home.
Setting of Standards
What do you need to do to make your outputs presentable?
- Mind your own work, make your paper neat, remove unnecessary things on top of
your desk.

Independent Activities:
Letter Mosaic: Tt
Materials: bond paper, old magazines, newspapers or colored paper, scissors, glue
Procedure:
1. On a bond paper, write the outline of the letter for the day in upper and lower case.
2. Have them cover the entire letter with cut-outs from the magazine, newspaper or
colored paper.

Story: Ang Dalawang Takuri (Filipino)

Ang Dalawang Takuri


Isang malakas na bagyo ang dumaan sa isang bayan. Lumaki ang tubig sa ilog at
tinangay ng baha ang ilang bahay na nakatayo sa pampang.
Dalawang takuri ang hindi nakaligtas sa baha. Ang isa ay yari sa luwad at ang isa ay
yari sa pilak.
Ngayon ay palutang-lutang sila kasama ang mga layak habang inaanod sila ng
rumaragasang tubig ng ilog.
“Kaibigan,” wika ng takuring yari sa pilak sa takuring yari sa luwad, “alam kong
natatakot ka. Kapag nabundol ka ay mababasag ka.”
“Dito ka pumuwesto sa likuran ko, magiging pananggalang mo ako,” wika ng
takuring yari sa pilak. “Hindi ako mababasag dahil yari ako sa pilak.”
“Salamat kaibigan,” wika ng takuring yari sa luwad.
“Pero hindi na kailangan.”
Sa halip na lumapit ay lalong lumayo ang takuring yari sa luwad sa takuring yari sa
pilak.
“Bakit ka lumayo?” nagtatakang tanong ng takuring yari sa pilak.
“Ayaw mo bang maprotektahan kita habang hindi pa lumilipas ang panganib?”
“Salamat kaibigan,” wika ng takuring yari sa luwad. “Alam kong mabuti ang iyong
layunin pero kapag lumapit ako sayo at nagkabungguan tayo, tiyak na mababasag ako.”
Hindi nakaimik ang takuring yari sa pilak. Pinagmasdan na lamang niya ang
takuring yari sa luwad na ilayo pa ang sarili sa kanya.
VIII. WORK PERIOD II
Teacher-Supervised: Who has more? (Math)
Materials: assorted materials such as stones, buttons, beads, saucers or any flat container
Procedure:
1. Put out about four saucers, each with a different number of objects in (for example,
four toothpicks, three buttons, two marble, one pebble)
2. The learner points at two saucers and chooses without counting out which saucer has
more or less objects
3. Learner then checks by pairing up the contents of the two saucers.

Independent Activities:
Playdough Numerals 1 to 4 (Arts and Math)
Materials: play dough
Procedure:
1. Give each learner a medium-sized ball of play dough.
2. Let them form the numerals 1, 2, 3 and 4.
3. Ask each learner to create the number of objects for each numeral. (example: 1 ball
for numeral 1, 2 hearts for numeral 2, and so on)

IX. INDOOR/ OUTDOOR ACTIVITY


Role Playing (ESP)
Procedure:
1. Teacher will give a situation then the learners will make a short role play about it.
