The RCP Carrom Tournament rules state that the initial round will be within each phase location only. Qualified players from each phase will advance to the knockout stage. Initial games consist of 25 points or 4 boards, whichever comes first. Interphase matches will be of 25 points or 8 boards, with the queen worth 0 points after a score of 22 is reached. Players may use both hands but no tapping is allowed. The referee will remove coins from the pocket and hand them to the other player. Sinking the striker results in losing a coin and ending one's turn, unless it is a double due. The decision of the Carrom Committee and referees is final.
